I'm a 25-year old first-time homebuyer living north of Boston with my fiance Scott, who's also my best friend of all time. We both work in marketing and are learning how to balance full-time jobs with being "adults" (although I think it's still debatable considering our love for Disney, coloring books and making fart noises) with a mortgage and wedding on the way.
We're working our way through remodeling the house we recently bought on HGTV's "Property Virgins" (most fun experience ever) and look forward to making the house our own... and to having a yard where we can BBQ when the weather gets warmer!
We're also dipping our toes into the wedding planning pool and like taking the process one step at a time, hoping to just have fun and enjoy this great new experience. And plus... I've seen "Bridezillas" and would prefer not being the only one standing up at the alter at our wedding... man, do some people go a little crazy with wedding planning!!
I'm writing this blog in hopes that it can be a little bit of help to anyone going through the wedding planning or home remodeling process -- or at least to maintain a slight semblance of sanity and humor while dealing with the stresses of both!!
